Prague: Messing about on the river

The Vltava runs right through the centre of Prague, separating the Little Quarter and Castle on one bank from the Old Town, New Town and Jewish Quarter on the other.

Taking a river trip is an extremely relaxing way to see the city, especially after a night on the Czech beers. Tours run from April through September and last 1–2 hours. Look out for the ticket sellers stationed at either end of the Charles Bridge; alternatively, check out the tour operators along the piers in the Jewish Quarter.
